Treasurer

Duties:

• Invest and monitor county funds
• Issue drivers license
• Issue motor vehicle titles
• Assess and register vehicles and watercraft
• Notification of taxes, real estate and personal property
• Collection of taxes real estate and personal property
• Distribution of taxes to enitities and state
• Collection of water assessments
• Collection and distribution of state aid
• Collection of county miscellaneous revenues
• Conduct sale of delinquent taxes
• Notification of motor vehicle renewal
• Issue and redeem tax sale certificates
• Collect special assessments
• Supply County Sheriff with distress warrant listing
• Daily and monthly reports
• Record and file permanent records
